Official 2010 Adelaide International Rugby Sevens Business Luncheon

The International Rugby Sevens tournament kicked off in Adelaide from 19-21 March. Variety SA was extremely proud to be the charity of choice for the tournament and the official 2010 Adelaide Rugby Sevens Business Luncheon for the fourth year in a row.
The lunch launched this very exciting international sporting event in style on Friday 19 March at the Adelaide Convention Centre. The event was attended by over 800 well known personalities and rugby enthusiasts from near and far, all united by the love of Rugby making it the largest lunch function in Adelaide.
Those who attended the lunch enjoyed a fantastic three course meal and had the privilege of hearing former Wallabies Captain, Nick Farr-Jones talk about highlights from his career and life experiences. The major auction took place including ‘money can’t buy’ items which successfully raised $8,000 for Variety to enrich the lives of children in need in South Australia. The lunch officially concluded with guests converging on Adelaide Oval to watch the tournament under lights.

Official 2009 Adelaide Rugby Sevens Business Luncheon

sevens crowdThe International Rugby Sevens Tournament kicked off in Adelaide from 3-5 April, larger than ever, with this year’s event being extended over three days for the first time.

For the third year in a row Variety the Children’s Charity was the charity of choice for the tournament and the Official 2009 Adelaide Rugby Sevens Business Luncheon.

The lunch launched this very exciting international sporting event in style on Friday 3 April at the Adelaide Convention Centre. It was attended by over 700 well known personalities and rugby enthusiasts all united by the love of Rugby.

After lunch the major auction took place including priceless money can’t buy items, which successfully raised significant money for Variety to enrich the lives of children in need in South Australia. The lunch officially concluded with everyone heading over to Adelaide Oval to watch the tournament commence for the first time under lights.
